Sunday, October 3rd, we’ll be participating in the “Alzheimer’s Memory Walk” at Tower City Center. The event is from 8:30am to 12:00pm.

Congratulations to Bangs Salon & Headlines, the newest members of Cleveland’s online community. Both sites were developed by the company behind Canvas Magazine, GoodProduce.
Nationally, there aren’t many black hair salons with a professional face on the web even in bigger markets like Atlanta or Chicago so this is kind of a big step. Be on the lookout for some future collabos between our sites in 2010!

It’s been awhile since we’ve lasted our last cool place. This time we bring you westside pita place, Liquid Planet. Known for their excellent pitas, rice bowls, and smoothies, LP has a great assortment of healthy food.

Located on the Westside of Cleveland, Johnny Mango’s World Cafe & Bar is a great place for a healthy lunch or dinner. What makes them unique is that they have a daily grain, bean, and veggie variety that comes with every meal. They also serve up some pretty big portions, keep that in mind too.

Winner of MyFox Cleveland’s Best Healthy Lunch Category two years in a row (2007, 2008), Tommy’s is our first cool place restaurant to be featured on the site. They’re located on 1824 Coventry right in Cleveland Heights.
They have excellent sandwiches and salads with all the fresh veggies you’ll ever need. Tommy’s also has one of the best milkshakes in Cleveland. Check ‘em out!
