<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>What motivated you to start NuLife?<br />
</strong>Struggling with weight loss, I tried a couple gyms and did not get the results I wanted. Looking at the NuLife website, I was very inspired by the results people were getting, so I figured I&#8217;d give it a try.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>For you, what is the difference between working out at NuLife versus other facilities?<br />
</strong>NuLife is like a big family. It is very encouraging being motivated by the trainers and members. I look forward to coming to the classes and working out with people I have met there. When working out at other facilities I always started out going with my friends. When they stopped going I lost my motivation, so I also stopped. There was no one there to help along the way unless you paid extra fees.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>What&#8217;s your favorite Nulife exercise(s), drill(s) or class?</strong><br />
My favorite class is Intermediate Step and my favorite exercise is &#8220;scissors on the bench&#8221;!!</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>What obstacles have you encountered? Are the obstacles the same after a considerable amount of weight loss?</strong><br />
The obstacles I have encountered are learning how to say &#8220;no&#8221; to unhealthy foods I have always eaten and finding healthy alternatives to my favorite dishes. Going from eating whatever I wanted to preparing healthy alternatives was actually an easy transition. I have found ways to prepare some real good meals that are all healthy. After losing the weight, an obstacle I still face is eating something not as healthy while thinking &#8220;I deserve to treat myself&#8221;. While going through this phase I have learned how to eat. I am able to incorporate certain foods back in, but I have to know my limit. Looking back where I came from and continuing to work out helps me stay on track.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>How do you stay focused and motivated?</strong><br />
I stay focused and motivated by remaining humble with the person God has transformed me into. This was not an easy journey at all; therefore I do not take my accomplishments for granted. When I come to the classes I give it my all because I am pursuing a lifestyle change, not a temporary fix.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>How has NuLife changed you socially, physically &amp; mentally?</strong><br />
NuLife has changed me socially, physically &amp; mentally by giving me back the confidence that was lost by my insecurities of being overweight. I now like the person I see in the mirror. A lot of people that knew me before I started losing weight have been complimenting me and encouraging me to stay focused. They also say I am a motivation to them and want to know what I eat and about my work outs. This really makes me feel good!</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>What are your personal fitness goals?<br />
</strong>My personal fitness goals are to remain at a healthy weight and never return to where I came from. I always said I wanted to lose the weight while I was young to avoid health problems in the future. I would also like to start running.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>What is your workout regiment (including Nulife and extra activities)?<br />
</strong>My workout regiment includes Beginners &amp; Intermediate Step Class, Boot Camp, iPump, riding the elliptical, and walking.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>What would you say to others struggling with weight loss?<br />
</strong>Don&#8217;t give up!! Weight loss is a daily battle, but you are the one who has to ultimately make the decision to take care of yourself. Stay focused and don&#8217;t get discouraged!!</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>What do you enjoy the most about NuLife?</strong><br />
I enjoy being in the NuLife family. I really appreciate the motivation received from Miesha and all the trainers. I have known Miesha for a while and she has always encouraged me not to give up. I also like that she knows every members name. She shows a true concern for everyone and wants to help them reach their goals.</p>
