Often times, I hear “I don’t have time for breakfast” or “I was tied up at work and missed lunch” and lastly, I was so tired when I got home, I just skipped dinner & went to bed.”
Not only does skipping meals slow your metabolism down, but leads to overeating because not eating leaves you overly hungry. The #1 rule is not allowing your daily calorie allowance to fall below 1,200 (women) & 1,500 (men).
One topic, I always enforce to our members is not to skip meals. When you are skipping meals there are dangerous consequences as a result. Doing so, can lead to real damage to your metabolism & excessive loss of lean muscle tissue.
Solution: Eating a healthy option every 2-3 hours throughout the day with helps stabilize your sugar levels and rev up your metabolism to make it throughout the day and your workout.
